This month, we’re kicking things off with our Wilderness First Aid training and Spring Outdoor Climbing Day, followed by our Monthly Bouldering Night and Top Rope Climbing sessions! We hope to see you at this month’s programming!

March Reflection:
March was full of energy and meaningful community engagement at Soul Trak. We kicked off the month with our Sustainable Youth Fashion Show, where young people showcased their creativity through sustainability-focused designs, highlighting innovation, self-expression, and environmental awareness.
We also hosted a Start Your Garden Workshop, a fellow-led initiative in partnership with Lederer Gardens, DPR, DC Natives, CCAN, Redelicious, and Friends of Lederer. Over 42 participants joined us for a hands-on experience, with 50 garden kits distributed to support individuals in starting their own gardens. The workshop emphasized the importance of connecting to nature through gardening and explored how community gardens contribute to environmental stewardship—from supporting pollinators to managing stormwater and strengthening local food systems.
Our Monthly Bouldering Night and Top Rope Climbing sessions continued to bring participants together to build skills, confidence, and community in climbing spaces.
We rounded out the month with a Youth Hike & Brunch in partnership with DCHA, engaging 17 participants in outdoor exploration and watershed education. Through stream observation, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning activities, youth were able to connect more deeply with both nature and each other.
Overall, March highlighted the power of creativity, sustainability, and outdoor connection. These programs continue to strengthen our community while creating meaningful, hands-on experiences in nature.
